A Life Well Lived
Alison and I attended the viewing for Dr. Stafford last night. He had such an impact on our lives that we really felt it was important to attending the viewing as a sign of our care for the family and the impact of Gil’s life. We were not alone. We waited in line for almost two hours to speak with the family. I have never been to a viewing before where so many people came. I believe this was a testimony to Gil’s life - a life well lived. Here’s a key quote from his obituary:
Dr. Stafford will be remembered for many things: His deep devotion to his family, his love for Christ and the church, his passionate preaching and teaching, his commitment to equip the next generation of church leaders, his wise counsel and his encouraging words.
Gil Stafford truly modeled a life well lived.
